Departing Taupō Airport, your journey begins with breathtaking aerial views of the vibrant geothermal features of Wai-O-Tapu before continuing to the dramatic summit of Mount Tarawera, one of New Zealand's most iconic volcanoes. From there, you'll follow the Rotorua Lakes, flying over the striking waters of Tikitapu (Blue Lake), Rotokākahi (Green Lake), Lake Ōkāreka, Lake Tarawera, Lake Rotomahana, and Lake Ōkataina.
